AMIOZ / TECHNICAL CONCEPT R2

Technical basis
& design assumptions.

This concept explores two independent solar canopies between sheds G3–G4 and G4–G5. It is a basis for design development and executive discussion, not a construction or procurement approval.

Capacity and geometry

Each working canopy envelope is 10 × 180 m, with a 5° gable roof and a maximum total height of 5 m including the modules. The proposed layout uses 592 modules at 640 W per canopy: 757.76 kWp of additional DC nameplate capacity. Module fit, setbacks, service access and mounting details remain to be reconciled.

Structure, mounting and module weights

The provisional mechanical reference is the Trina TSM-NEG19RC.20 at 33 kg and 2382 × 1134 × 30 mm. Its cited datasheet is for 610–635 W; the 640 W planning rating is not confirmed. Module mass is 19.54 tonnes per canopy, before mounting and steel. A separate mounting budget of 3 kg/m² of module area is an estimate, not a K2 bill of materials.

The proposed steel frame and K2 interface require project-specific design. The 4.10 m clear-height target leaves about 0.463 m gross depth at the eave within the 5 m maximum height. See the structural basis, load table and manufacturer references.

Tractor access

The concept reserves a 12 m frame bay with a target 4.10 m minimum soffit. Transfer members are uncalculated space envelopes. The illustrated Fendt 1050 Vario proxy is 6.35 m long, 2.75 m wide and 3.606 m high, with no implement. Actual vehicle configuration, ground profile, operating margins and loaded structural deflection must be verified.

Winter shade

The geometric screen samples 17,280 receiving-roof points at five-minute intervals. Under the assumed base elevations, the first afternoon canopy intersection on 21 December occurs around 16:15, fixed UTC+2. Lowering the receiving PV by 1 m advances the first sampled afternoon intersection to about 15:30.

The percentages compare sampled roof area, not inventoried modules or electrical losses. The study is not an annual production simulation. Four representative dates were screened within 08:00–16:00; this does not demonstrate zero shading outside those windows or for all days.

Visual interpretation

The film and renders communicate the spatial concept. The aerial opening includes AI-generated landscape details; surroundings are illustrative. Height, access and winter-shadow views follow the R2 geometry, which uses approximate site and roof elevations. The solar design model contains unresolved height, array-fit and setback differences.

Next-stage evidence

A surveyed level model, actual vehicle and implement, site loading and geotechnical inputs, engineered steel and foundations, coordinated mounting design, electrical and grid review, validated annual yield and cost estimate are required to develop a reliable investment case.
